Horse Power Instructor Training School

WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAM UNIQUE?

The Horse Power Instructor Training School (HPITS) is the first nationally approved instructor training site in the United States- and possibly the world- to specialize in Equine Facilitated Mental Health and Equine Experiential Learning. Candidates receive in-depth preparation for both Registered and Advanced NARHA Instructor Certification, in addition to prerequisites coursework for future EFMHA certification and Equine Specialist certification*. Students additionally receive the training and skills needed to successfully achieve certification with Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and Centered Riding, Inc. (additional fees required). Individuals who wish to become certified as a NARHA Certified Therapeutic Driving Instructor may gain valuable experience in driving and gather driving hours toward future certification. However, this course does not offer driving certification as a result of attendance.
